My name is James Blair and I am the founder and head coach of Endorphin boxing.
I have been an avid student of Boxing and Muay Thai kickboxing in Australia and South East Asia for many years, having competed on the amateur boxing circuit in Western Australia and Muay Thai in Vietnam and cambodia.
At the heart of my passion for combat sport has always been a thirst for both knowledge and fitness.
Over my 10 + years of coaching my aim has been to teach all my valued clients the correct boxing technique, improve their fitness and create a strong and healthy foundation.
Even my clients who just book in for fitness have soon found themselves loving developing technical boxing attributes and gaining skills for life.
In my experience when my clients develop these skills they have improved strength, coordination and most importantly increased confidence and self esteem.
Like many people these days I have struggled at times with depression and anxiety.
During these times my saviour has been boxing and fitness and I strongly believe it has been the biggest factor in getting myself out of that dark place.
When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain.
Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body, activating the pleasure centre of the brain.
In a nut shell exercising makes you happy!
So Endorphin is here to make you fitter and stronger, improve your boxing skills and help you to be the happiest version of YOU!
